Time for the How are you today app. You, as a potential victim, install the app on your smartphone. Daily, at a time you set, you receive a push message. In that message, you click the I am Fine button and it is sent to your contact person. So if at some point you are unable to send that push message, the contact knows something may be wrong.

Everyone is familiar with the system where you push a button and a person or company is alerted. But how does it work in practice?

You don't have to think about it! You die and are only found after days, weeks, months or even years. Given the aging population and loneliness, this phenomenon will only increase. Make sure this does not happen to you.

Who can serve as a contact person?

Usually this will be a son or daughter. But a parent for a child is, of course, also possible. After that, you can think of a friend or acquaintance. Are you all alone? Then a good neighbor might be willing to check your reports.

What is the refund policy?

You pay per quarter. If you cancel within this quarter, the direct debit stops. You will not get a refund. Let's be honest: if you stop after 1.5 months, you only paid € 9,00 for nothing.

What is the best way to use the app?

The “person to be monitored” could choose a daily notification at 6 pm. A response can then be made immediately, or you agree with the contact person that you will respond no later than 12 a.m. at night. It is conceivable that you cannot always respond immediately.

Is there an app for Android and iOS?

For now, there is an app for Android. With enough enthusiasm, the iOS app will follow. Naturally, a contact with an iPhone can receive notifications.

What does this service cost?

This service costs € 0.10 per day. You pay quarterly. So that works out to € 9,00 per quarter.
